Gul-o-Berg Research Journal (Urdu) is biannual, double-blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the Department of Urdu, Government Graduate College for Women, Gulberg, Lahore. The journal provides a distinguished platform for original, rigorous, and research-driven scholarship in the Urdu language, literature, criticism, and related fields. It is committed to advancing academic inquiry, promoting intellectual discourse, and disseminating high-quality research that contributes meaningfully to Urdu studies.

The journal welcomes scholarly contributions from established academics, emerging researchers, and students in Pakistan and internationally. Gul-o-Berg Research Journal (Urdu) invites original research papers, critical essays, and scholarly reviews in the following areas:

 

 

To promote scholarly excellence in Urdu literature and language by providing a credible, inclusive, and forward-looking academic platform.

 

 

To support and disseminate innovative research that deepens understanding of Urdu literary traditions, nurtures intellectual inquiry, and encourages dialogue within the academic community.

 

 

The journal is intended for academics, literary critics, linguists, postgraduate scholars (MPhil/PhD), and students engaged in the study of Urdu language, literature, and related disciplines.

 

 

 

گل و برگ ریسرچ جرنل‘ (اردو) ایک شش ماہی، ڈبل بلائنڈ پیئر ریویوڈ (Double-Blind Peer-Reviewed) اور معیاری علمی و تحقیقی جریدہ ہے، جو شعبۂ اردو، گورنمنٹ گریجوایٹ کالج برائے خواتین، گل برگ، لاہور کے زیرِ اہتمام شائع ہوتا ہے۔ یہ جریدہ اردو زبان و ادب، تنقید اور متعلقہ علمی و تحقیقی شعبہ جات میں تخلیقی، مستند اور معیاری تحقیقی کام کی اشاعت کے لیے ایک معتبر پلیٹ فارم فراہم کرتا ہے۔
جریدے کا بنیادی مقصد اردو کے مطالعاتی اور تحقیقی میدان میں معیاری علمی تحقیق کو فروغ دینا، نئے فکری مباحث اور علمی مکالمے کی حوصلہ افزائی کرنا اور ایسی تحقیقی کاوشوں کو منظرِ عام پر لانا ہے جو اردو زبان و ادب کے فروغ اور اس کے علمی و فکری سرمائے میں قابلِ قدر اضافہ کریں۔
’گل و برگ ریسرچ جرنل‘ پاکستان اور بیرونِ ملک سے تعلق رکھنے والے مستند ماہرینِ تعلیم، اساتذۂ کرام، محققین اور طلبہ کی تحقیقی و علمی کاوشوں کا خیرمقدم کرتا ہے۔ جریدہ تنقیدی بصیرت، جدید تحقیقی رجحانات، متنوع علمی زاویوں اور مستند تحقیق کے ذریعے علمی و ادبی مکالمے کو وسعت دینے کے ساتھ ساتھ اردو کے ادبی، لسانی اور فکری مطالعات کے مسلسل ارتقا میں اپنا کردار ادا کرنے کے لیے کوشاں ہے

 

 

گل و برگ ریسرچ جرنل(اردو) کے دئرہ کار میں درج ذیل موضوعات آتے ہیں:

 

اردو زبان و ادب میں علمی تحقیق کو فروغ دینا اور ایک معتبر، معیاری اور عصری تحقیقاتی فورم فراہم کرنا۔

 

 

نئی تحقیق، تنقیدی بصیرت، اور علمی فکر کی حوصلہ افزائی کرتے ہوئے اردو ادبی روایت کے فہم میں گہرائی پیدا کرنا اور قومی و عالمی علمی برادری سے بامعنی مکالمہ قائم رکھنا۔

 

 

یہ مجلہ اردو زبان و ادب، لسانیات، اور متعلقہ شعبہ جات سے وابستہ اساتذہ، محققین، ایم فل/پی ایچ ڈی اسکالرز، اور طالبات کے لیے ترتیب دیا گیا ہے۔
